Board of Directors

The Mountain’s Edge Master Association Board of Directors is made up of five elected residents who become the responsible governing body for the entire Association per Nevada law. The Board of Directors participates in an open forum meeting bi-monthly, which residents are encouraged to attend. Fellow residents elected these Board members to lead and embody the spirit of the community and volunteer their time to help maintain and protect the value and desirability of homes and common areas within Mountain’s Edge by overseeing Committees, directing the Mountain’s Edge team, deciding upon all contracts and working as liaisons to outside entities such as politicians, law enforcement and government entities. Please take a moment to get to know the amazing, dedicated Board members who work so diligently to serve your community by viewing their profiles below.
Board President
Christopher Crowell

Neighborhood: Monterey Ranch

Our newest Board member, Christopher, has lived in the Mountain’s Edge Community for the past three years along with his wife and teenage daughter. Christopher and his family enjoy their neighborhood connections in Monterey Ranch, looking out for each other and contributing family to family. After his busy days in the office as an I.T. professional, Christopher likes to de-stress by using his BBQ smoker, barbecuing, and competing with his daughter at online gaming.
Board Vice President
Adam Zucker

Neighborhood: Coldwater Crossing

A resident of Mountain’s Edge since 2015, Adam has been a long-standing member of many Mountain’s Edge committees and an avid community event volunteer. In his free time, Adam enjoys the beautiful Mountain’s Edge outdoor amenities with his dog, Marshall. After six years of dedicated community involvement, Adam decided to run for the Board to amplify the impact of his contribution. In his new role, Adam shared that he is looking forward to enhancing our community by adopting technologies to optimize operations.
Board Treasurer
Cameron Scharchburg Beyer

Neighborhood: Quintessa

A member of the Board since 2017, Cameron has lived in the Mountain's Edge neighborhood of Quintessa since 2015. During that time, he has given back to the community by participating in several Association Committees and volunteering at Lifestyle events.  His proudest accomplishment since joining the Board to date has been developing the community dog park from an idea to reality. Cameron shared, "Being a homeowner requires you to give a significant emotional and financial investment.  I see no better return on that investment than being involved in making your community a better place.”
Board Secretary
Michael Schear
Board Director at Large
Mark Leon

Neighborhood: Yellowstone

Mark Leon and his wife have lived in Mountain’s Edge since early 2009 and enjoy how well-maintained and clean the Mountain’s Edge community is. In their spare time, Mark and his wife enjoy watching movies at home. He decided to run for re-election to the Board of Directors after receiving the Dedicated Community Association Leadership (DCAL) certification through the Community Associations Institute (CAI) in 2016. In 2017 Mark served as the Mountain's Edge Board President, during which time he was awarded two CAI awards: the Southern Nevada Board Member of the Year and DCAL of the Year. Mark states, “I am anxious to apply that knowledge to keep our community vibrant and fun.”
